The moves

The movement vocabulary used across the spot pages, in plain terms.

Splat

Running at a steep or vertical face and meeting it with the feet, or the hands and feet, then dropping to the ground below.

Vault

Passing over an obstacle using the hands on it for support. There are many types, including the cat pass, the speed vault and the speed step.

Stride

A running jump that takes off from one foot and lands on the other, across a gap.

Lache

Swinging from a bar or rail and releasing at the end of the swing to travel forward.

Plyo

Two or more precisions without pausing in between.

Wall run

Running up a vertical face to reach a height that cannot be jumped to directly, ending in a cat hang.

Cat pass precision

A cat pass that lands on another obstacle in a precision.

Also called cat pass pre, kong pre, kong precision

Cat pass

Passing over an obstacle by diving hands first and bringing both legs through between the arms.

Also called kong, kong vault

Cat leap 180

From a cat hang on the wall, a 180 off the wall into a precision.

Also called cat 180, cat back, cat leap 180, 180

Cat leap

The jump into a cat hang.
